Description

A good late Georgian rosewood string box or dispenser in the form of a barrel, with banded decoration to the barrel.

A delightful example, lovely colour and patina. There is a very small loss to the ‘tap’ of the barrel where the string would dispense from. A small detail on a delightful object. The tap still retains the original steel cutter.
