Sheraton Mahogany Tea Caddy 1800

Description

Here we have a charming tea caddy with lots of character. It’s a typical twin lid version made from mahogany. It’s an early piece dating to Sheraton 1790-1800. It has two iconic inlaid shells one on the centre lid and the other to the front. The shell inlays are made from sycamore and boxwood. This examples comes with a fully functioning lock and key.
