Description

Here we have a rare collectors moth inlaid twin lid tea caddy in super condition. It’s primarily made from mahogany with beautiful boxwood and ebony banding and stringing around the edging. It’s formed in a 8 sided octagonal shape. The centre lid comprises of this large oval moth inlay which is made from a mixture of sycamore and boxwood. The interior has two mahogany lids formed in the shape ion the box. The lid is lined in dark red velvet. It comes with a fully functioning lock and key. Dates to Georgian 1820. A stunning collectors example and a must have!
