A Superb and Large Swiss Music Box

19th century
Description

A superb and quite large music box (probably of swiss origin) playing six tunes on a much larger than normal cylinder, allowing for longer playing time on each cycle. Complete with tune sheet, including three tunes by Verdi. All teeth are in perfect condition and the case is ebonised with finest walnut book-matched veneers and tulipwood cross banding.
