A very good quality coromandel-wood SEWING BOX, with Mother-of-Pearl, abalone and engraved brass inlay.

The well-fitted interior is complete with a set of TEN original carved and pierced MOP cotton reels; various tools etc.

Bears the makers plate of the famous makers: Toulmin & Cale, London.

Underneath the tool layer is a fabulous collection of sewing-related items such as pin cushions; scent bottles; three Tunbridgeware sewing items etc. The variety of items that avid collectors love!
