Burr Walnut Tunbridge Ware Jewellery Box 1880

Description

A charming jewellery box made from burr walnut with tunbridge ware inlay through out. The burr to the wood grain really stands out and is in a good condition for its age. It has a mother of pearl inlay to the centre lid and also at the front. The interior comprises of its original blue lined lift out tray which is made of a number of sections for storing jewellery. More storage underneath for the larger items. This example dates to Victorian 1880 and comes with a fully functioning lock and key.
