An unusual 19th century folding book or music stand. The shape starts as a box with a drawer but can be opened out from the lid to act as a baize lined adjustable book or music stand.

The flame mahogany figuring on the lid is very nice with both sides of the opening lid matching. figuring

It measures approx 17.5cm x 26 cm and 6cm high closed.

On the underside of the base there is a paper label 'chez ALPH. GIROUX. Rue du Coq St Honore'.
