A Victorian Toulmin & Gale leather bound despatch and writing case, containing the original light and ink boxes. The inside of the case gilt with DESPATCH & WRITING CASE REGISTERED NO.3395 TOULMIN & GALE SISE LANE CITY & NEW BOND STREET LONDON. Complete with original lock and key. In excellent overall condition, light wear commensurate with age and use. A rare find and quality period example. Circa 1870-1880.
