A beautifully constructed 19th century inlaid JEWELLERY BOX finely decorated to the top, front and all sides with paktong (metal) and ivory. It opens to reveal a fully fitted upper tray with compartments for rings; bracelets etc., which is removable to reveal the vacant section below, all lined in original purple velvet. 12 x 8 x 5ins.
