Description

An impressive large example of a late Victorian jewellery box dating to around 1880. Perfect for either a lady or gentleman the box is clad in gorgeous cognac coloured crocodile skin.

The top-notch quality of the box can be seen from the long brass piano hinge and Bramah lock (alas no key), a true sign of quality. The cantilever operated top section opens to reveal many compartments below, beautifully lined in dark green velvet.

Excellent condition measuring 10" x 6 3/4" x 4 1/2" tall.
