Japanese hand lacquered solid tortoiseshell box Meiji period, 1868-1912
Decorated in raised silver and two colour gold, a detailed landscape,
a crane perched in the foreground and distant buildings lit by lanterns.
In good bright sound condition, two small losses to the lacquer.
49mm x 37mm x 18mm, weight 16 grams.
