This is a super antique Victorian sterling silver trinket box measuring 2 3/4" (7 cms) x 2 3/4" (7 cms) x 1 1/4" (3.5 cms) high.

It's hallmarked for Birmingham 1899 with the silversmiths mark for Samuel Jacob.

It weighs 68.6 grams / 2.2 troy oz and has a super pierced lid showing a rather dapper gent!

There are no inscriptions or monograms and the whole item is in excellent condition.
