A fine quality 19th century ormolu mounted kingwood box, the shaped sides with oval porcelain panels, lift off lid with pineapple finial. The sides are edged with ormolu banding, the base with it''s original countersunk brass castors. the interior is lined with old material and there is evidence it may have been a sewing box or even a cellarette.. English Circa 1850 and a great shape.
Our opening times are Monday (by appointment) Tuesday - Saturday 10.30 till 5 pm.
