Burr Walnut Writing Slope 1870

Description

Here we have a beautiful writing slope to a large size made from a super burr walnut wood. It’s in a great overall condition through out with brass bounding around the edging of the box. The interior consists of the original dark red velvet slope section. It has a few compartments to the front for smaller items. Underneath the slope section you’ll find the secret drawers area which is activated by pushing down a catch. A lovely example dating Victorian 1870 and comes with a fully functioning lock and key.
