A Fine Victorian Burr Walnut and Brass Bound Writing Slope.

Description

A fine Victorian burr walnut writing slope. Bound with brass straps and corners with oblong vacant cartouch and oblond brass escutcheon plate, both surrounded with brass inlay. Inside is fitted wuith a beautiful tooled dark blue leather, a pair of inkwells, pen tray and two concealed (secret) drawers.

Original lock with working key.

Size: 16" long (41cm) x 10" deep (25.5) x 7.1/8" high (18cm)
