Art Deco Shagreen Bone Cigarette Box Period

Description

Fine 1920s Art Deco period shagreen cigarette box.

Veneered throughout in textured un polished shagreen with bone edge mounts

Selected symmetric shagreen veneers, front, top and back, beechwood carcase with green suede on the bottom.

All in excellent condition, the shagreen showing minor colour changes from handling only adding to the appeal.

A classic design, well made using top quality materials, a luxury top end item from the 1920's.

7,5/8" x 4,1/4" x 2,3/4" or 193mm x 108mm x 70mm, weight 595 grams.
