Kingwood Campaign Georgian Jewellery Box 1820

Description

A beautiful completely original jewellery box in a nice overall size. It’s made from solid mahogany (not veneer) so a nice solid weight to the box. It’s brass bounded all over adding quality and stability. It’s an early piece dating late Georgian period 1820. The plaque on the centre is a slightly later addition stating 1834. It’s all completely original inside and comes with the original key with working lock. A lovely original early box.
