Description

A collectable letter box that would have been used at front of house or at a hotel for obviously collecting the post. This particular one is a nice clean original example made by the famous maker JC Vickery of Regent street London. It has a large brass plaque on the front saying Letters with the slot beneath. The label is position inside at the back. It has a bevelled glass section at the bottom for clear viewing of the contents. It made from mahogany and dates to the late Victorian period 1890. A high end bramah lock with functioning lock and key.
