A stunning inlaid jewellery box in a completely immaculate condition. Made by a number of woods. The main darker wood is coromandel with the lighter brown wood being burr wood. The decorative inlay towards the edging is made from satinwood. Other inlays that aren’t wood is a large amount of mother of pearl, brass and aberlone. The floral design in the centre is just spectacular. Simply one of the nicest inlaid boxes we’ve has the pleasure of selling with very unique one of the kind inlays and look. The interior has been completely designed from scratch and superbly fitted. Jewellery tray which consists of a couple of ring rolls lined in dark red velvet. ?Comes with a fully functioning lock and key and dates to early Victorian 1850. A truly stunning piece.
