This is a lovely 19th century Tunbridge Ware pin cushion topped sewing pannier box.
It is veneered in rosewood with mosaic inlay on the top and bottom of the main body of the pannier box. The lidded pin cushion top lifts off and there is storage space below. There is a folding swing handle for carrying purposes.
The box measures only 11cm w x 7cm w x 3.8cm h excluding the handle.
