Coromandel Vanity Box 1860

Description

Here we have a fully fitted vanity box made primarily from coromandel wood. It has two inlaid decorative mother of pearl inlays, one at the front of the box and the other on the centre lid.

As we open the box you are greeted by the vanity section which comprises of various glass bottles and jars all original to the box. They are all closed by silver plate lids. This vanity dates to mid Victorian 1860. It has a reversible mirror to the lid. Down towards the bottom it has a drawer which is perfect for your smaller items such as jewellery. This vanity does not come with a key, reflective of the price.
