Description

A ladies box made from rosewood with decorative mother of pearl inlay through out. It has a small decorative inlay design to the centre lid and a mother of pearl escutcheon. The box is in a good condition for its age. The lid opens to reveal an empty section for storage and beneath that is a pull out drawer which then unfolds to reveal a writing slope area for your writing needs. It has an original red leather and small compartments for storing smaller writing materials. It comes with a fully functioning lock and key and dates to early Victorian 1830.
