Solid Rosewood Writing Slope 1830

Description

A solid rosewood writing slope. When I say solid it’s rosewood veneered onto mahogany which is usual as it’s normally pine/oak. So added weight and quality through out which is a nice touch.

A nice example and it’s in a good overall condition. The box dates too early Victorian 1840. The interior comprises of the red leather writing section with storage compartments underneath. The slope comes with a fully functioning lock and key.
