Fisher - The Strand London Vanity Box 1850

Description

A fully kitted vanity box made from burr walnut with a brass inlay on the centre lid and to the front escutcheon. It’s in a great original physical condition through out. It made by a famous maker - Fisher, The Strand London early Victorian c.1840 with the makers label stamped upon a brass plaque. The interior comprises of an array of glass bottles and jars and navy blue velvet to the lid. The top tray lifts out to reveal more storage underneath with also a bottom drawer which is great additional storage. It comes with a fully functioning lock and key.
