An Antique Sorrento Ware Olivewood & marquetry Jewellery Box.

A nice example of an antique Sorrento ware marquetry box with central pictorial marquetry panel depicting dancers surrounded by micromosaic parquetry border. The box constructed of olive wood inlaid with boxwood. There are some signs of wear to the top.

Secret compartment to under side with faded Peach coloured velvet interior.
