Collectors Octagonal Georgian Tea Caddy

Description

A super collectors single 8 sided octagonal tea caddy. A rare shape this example is made from a rich African mahogany with boxwood inlay around the edging. It’s got a Georgian oval inlay to the centre front and also on the top lid. This caddy is completely original and a real bit of history. It dates to Georgian 1790-1800. It does have a few age related wear on the top so please inspect photos, but overall in a decent condition. The top comprises of a brass handle. It comes with a fully functioning lock and key.
