Fiddle Back Mahogany Georgian Tea Caddy 1790

Description

A fine single lid Georgian tea caddy made fiddle back mahogany with two iconic Georgian shells inlaid on the front and the top with boxwood inlay around the edging. It’s in a decent overall original condition. It dates to Sheraton 1790 and is a lovely collectors example. The inside you have a mahogany lid. It comes with a lock and key. You have to be gentle on the lock but it does work.
