A suburb quality sewing box made from a rich coromandel wood. In great original condition all over this box has an array of mother of pearl and abalone and bras inlay. A highly decorative collectors box. The interior comprises of the sewing area and compartments with a lift out tray for more storage below. The box dates to Victorian 1850 and comes with a fully functioning lock and key.
