Figured Walnut Writing Slope 1880

Description

Here we have a superb writing slope made from a lovely figured walnut giving off an attractive grain through out. It has a brass over inlay on the centre lid and for the key escutcheon. The interior comprises of the writing slope section with the original leather. It has a couple of compartments at the front and the two two main sections under the leather. It comes with a fully functioning lock and key and dates to Victorian 1870.
