Description

An early 19thC military campaign writing slope. Brass banded and having flush military brass carrying handles to the side. The interior with two brass capped inks, bolted compartment , pen tray and pin/wax slide. There is a side drawer secured by a locking pin from the interior. Working lock and KEY. Newly baized writing surface. Some knocks and blemishes from use on campaign but the photographs show the condition and wood colour accurately. One hinge has been changed in the past but only noticeable if you know. Very nice mahogany timber, colour and patina good.
