In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
It is in excellent original condition and although it has been used it has obviously been very well looked after over the years. It would have originally had inkwells on the top which are now missing but overall it displays beautifully. There are a few small knocks and marks around the outside, general signs of age and light use but nothing detrimental.
