Description

A lovely burr walnut writing slope with brass banding.

Nice condition with original french polished finish.

Secret drawers.

The brass cartouche to the top of the box is inscribed "Presented to Henry Carwardine by the Hr. Cambridge St. Sunday School as an acknowledgement of Faithful service. March 1910"

I am sure, however that the box is much older than 1910.
