Stunning Satinwood Single Georgian Tea Caddy 1800

Description

Here we have a stunning unique shaped single lid tea caddy made from satinwood and various more woods. Including rosewood around the bottom of the caddy, ebony around the edging and on the top of the lid consist of boxwood & ebony stringing, with tulipwood wood around the sides. Truly in super condition through out. We have two iconic inlaid shell’s for the period of c.1800. As we open the caddy we can see the rosewood edging continue around a super satinwood lid which is a lovely contrast between the light and the dark woods. It comes with a fully functioning lock and key. A real collectables item.
