Description

Here we have a beautiful writing slope made primarily from burr walnut with a stunning array of assorted inlaid woods on the top lid commonly known as ‘Van Dyke’. Many woods are used including mahogany, rosewood, tulipwood and boxwood. The box is in a super original condition through out. The interior comprises of the writing slope section with the original navy blue baize.

Storage underneath each side and smaller compartments for all manner of writing materials. A fine example coming with a fully functioning lock and key and dating too late Victorian 1890.
