Description

An absolute stunning inlaid writing slope made from burr walnut. It’s covered in super decorative inlays all around which is very attractive from all angles. The main exterior wood is burr walnut and the inlays are made from several woods including boxwood, ebony and sycamore wood. It’s in a great condition for its age. The interior comprises of the writing sloped section made with dark green leather. The front comprises of loads of small compartments. Underneath the slope sits 3 inlaid drawers. This example dates to the Victorian period 1880 and comes with a fully functioning lock and key.
