Large 19th Century Rosewood Tobacco Caddy Box

Description

A good large 19th century (circa 1830/40) solid rosewood tobacco jar of plain circular form with simple yet elegant turned wooden handle to the lid. Inside retains some old tobacco, which smells wonderful! In excellent condition, with no damage or repair; the lid is a very good tight fit. The whole piece having a lovely patina and colour to the rosewood; cleaned and waxed.
