Description

This is a nice example of a coromandel writing slope. It is brass bound with a plaque in the centre of the top saying our "RL Field". The interior of this writing slope has a pen slide with storage underneath it. Two original ink wells and what looks to us like the original leather. It also has three lovely secret drawers behind a panel inside. This piece comes with 3 ink pens; one made from a feather, a silvered propelling pencil and a pencil. This beautiful piece has been through our restoration workshop and is in good condition ready to go.C1840
