Unusual Victorian Mahogany Antique Tea Caddy

Of High quality and very Unusual in shape this 19th century Victorian Mahogany Antique Tea Caddy dates from ca. 1860. It has a hanged lid with secret compartment, a key with working lock and stands on small turned bun feet. The Mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Approximate Dimensions are:

Height: 20 cm / 8 inches

Width: 25.5 cm / 10 inches

Depth: 21 cm / 8.5 inches
