C19th French Satinwood and Burr Walnut Jewellery Box

Description

Super quality and most unusual French c19th octagonal satinwood and burr walnut jewellery box with a stringing inlay.

Whether you are looking for a decorative box for display or a functional jewellery box, this could be a great option with it being such as unusual style, having the octagonal shape and the "tented" lid.

Good condition with some typical age related marks, but does have its original working lock and key, also the very elegant brass handle too.

Internally, it is lined with its vintage velvet or draylon.
