A rare early 19thc brass perpetual calender snuff box in excellent working condition and inscribed with a lovely verse on the underneath which reads .....

" None but my master I supply

Let begging fellows go and buy

Begin nothing of which thou

hast not well considered the end.

The box is in very good condition and even still contains some snuff....! English. C1832.
