An early 1800's oak reel box with a sliding lid and a drawer.

Note the holes along the outside of the oak box for threading the cotton through with a flower design around the hole.The inside is a divided interior for the reels and other sewing instruments.

Lovely colour and patina.

It measures 14.5cm w x 9cm h x 9.5cm d..
