Victorian Oak Tea Caddy in Form of Coal Scuttle

Description

A super Victorian oak and silver plated tea caddy or biscuit box in the form of a coal scuttle by Henry Bourne. A wonderful box, very useful for a variety of purposes or as part of a collection. One shield is engraved with presentation to a member of the Castle Cooke Cricket club on his marriage 7th Feb 96. Circa 1880-90.

A delightful piece, in superb condition, no damage. The plating in excellent condition, with minimal wear.
