Antique Book Box - Containing 36 Bone Dominoes

Description

An early to mid 1800's book box with a sliding lid fitted out with bone dominoes to the interior.

There are 36 dominoes, going up to a double seven, each one has three horizontal coloured lines to the centre to divide the numbers up.

The box has been made in the shape of a book with a decorated spine with ebony and mahogany stringing. Chip carved decoration to front and back.

It measures 12.5cm h x 3.8 cm d x 7.6cm w
