Antique Regency Mahogany Teapoy,Possibly Federal.

A Regency mahogany teapoy ,the flame veneered top lifting to reveal an interior with two caddies and unusual mirror,the glass mixing bowl is missing but could easily be replaced.The base is in the shape of a lyre with finely carved bird''s heads with centre shell,down to a platform with four carved legs and castors.There is a chance the teapoy could be Federal,Duncan Phyfe used the lyre on several pieces and the carving on the legs is similar to that on others.Regency Circa 1820.Fine colour and patina and in good condition throughout.
