Antique Persian Bronze Jewellery Casket Box

Description

This is a very attractive Islamic bronze casket which dates from around 1900. The casket in solid bronze is overlaid with copper and silver and has some calligraphic text to all sides. It is lined inside with wood. It has a small hasp type fastening and is in very good order throughout with some beautiful rubbing to the bronze. The casket measures 10 cms by 10 cms by 8 cms.
