The lid had brass pique work decoration with a date 1852 and a mother of pearl heart. To the sides of the snuff shoe is a brass pique work heart and a brass pique work crown.
The sole of the snuff box has brass pique work and a mother of pearl diamond.
The snuff shoe measures 7.3cm l x 2.7cm w x 2.8cm h
