Sensational Figured Walnut Antique Writing Slope / Box

This Sensational Large 19th century Figured Walnut Antique Writing Slope / Box circa, 1850 has been made from spectacular figured Walnut with Brass bound inlays. There is a key with working lock and the interior has an early tooled leather writing insert along with small compartments. The Walnut has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Height: 14 cm / 5.5 inches

Width: 46 cm / 18 inches

Depth: 26 cm / 10 inches
