1920 - 1940
Description

A beautifully engraved Japanese jewel box in sterling silver, overlaid with gold gilt depicting scenes of mountains, sailing boats, trees and small Japanese houses. Inside the box it has four drawers with silver handles and lined in red velvet. On the inside of the doors there are engraved pictures of what appears to be a Geisha girl. It has its original key. Stamped to the base “sterling silver” circa 1930-1940
