This fabulous GEORGIAN BURR YEW WORK BOX dates from circa 1820. The colour of the wood is wonderful.

The top, which has a beautiful rolled over moulding to the edge, has a small inlaid cartouche in the centre which is decorated with the musical score and words of 'Auld Lang Syne' by Robert Burns.

The inside of the BOX has a fitted tray which lifts out in order to store your sewing beneath.
