George III Gents Fitted Dressing Case

Description

A gorgeous quality George III period Gentlemen's DRESSING CASE with all of its original contents present.

The brass bound mahogany case opens to reveal a wonderful selection of original bottles, jars and implements, all with fully hallmarked silver lids. These include: Set of 3 cologne bottles; solid silver round 'soap' box; 3-piece silver shaving brush and 6 other jars, all with heavy silver lids.

The upper tray lifts out to reveal a further and complete tray of eleven tools & implements, all perfect, whilst within the lid is a removable mirror. Superb quality and lovely condition. The silver is hallmarked for London 1804. The case: 12.25 x 9.25 x 4ins.
